A fantastic facility set in several acres of beautiful country side on the Somerset/Devon/Dorset border. The non profit centre is ran by Mike and Barbara Gage with their team of volunteers and offers a unique opportunity to get up close to many different species of wild and semi wild deer.
Visitors are taken on a 1 hour guided walk where the team will be on hand to explain about the different species which include Red, Fallow, Roe and Japanese Sika deer. You are welcome to bring a picnic as the site has a rustic cabin with indoor and outdoor seating which includes hot drink making facilities.
There is also be the opportunity for the children to feed the animals with the odd Digestive biscuit or 2!
Please note, as the centre contains semi wild animals they must operate a strictly no dogs policy, children must be supervised by adults at all time and visits are by appointment only.
Should you wish to visit or require more information please contact Mike or Barbara on either 01460 64174 or 07804 40392.
