With evidence of settlement from the Neolithic period through to the Romans, Ham Hill has a lot of history. A stone circle and the War Memorial stand out amongst the ramparts and quarry pits, and wildflowers and wildlife populate this Site of Special Scientific Interest. Very popular with walkers, cyclists and picnickers.
